Cribrum moleculare carbonis est materia poros minutissimos magnitudinis precisae et uniformis continens, quae adsorbens gases adhibetur. Cum pressio satis alta est, moleculae oxygenii, quae per poros CMS multo celerius quam moleculae nitrogenii transeunt, adsorbentur, dum moleculae nitrogenii exeuntes in phase gaseosa locupletabuntur. Aer oxygenii locupletatus, a CMS adsorptus, pressione imminuta liberabitur. Deinde CMS regeneratur et paratus est ad alium cyclum producendi aeris nitrogenio locupletati.
